Come and enjoy the creative process of dot painting with poet and artist Faith Vicinanza.
A dot painting is produced by repeated imprints of a paint-covered brush, dotting stick, or other implement onto the painting surface creating recognizable “dot” marks on the canvas.
Tools, paint, and practice cards will be provided. You are welcome to bring a blank journal to try your hand at a design on a book cover. There will be options to paint a notecard or ornament as part of the workshop. The primary focus is on learning about tools and techniques.
Wear clothes that you are not afraid to get paint on. Class is normally $50.00, but is $45.00 if you bring a friend and save 10%. If you do, please call 203-586-1474 to register.
