Farming and farms in general have played an important role in Southbury's history and continues to contribute to our community today. Many towns and communities like Southbury owe part of their founding and existence to farmers and others who settled here. Not only do farms provide a livelihood for people who farm full-time, they also supplement the household income of people who farm part-time while working full-time in other jobs. Guardians Farm

Guardians Farm has found its home in the lovely Town of Southbury in the rolling hills of Western Connecticut. Southbury has a rich farming history and we are excited to be a part of it during a time when many farms are closing.

Hidden Gem Orchard

Hidden Gem Orchard is a boutique orchard located in the Purchase section of Southbury CT. We specialize in antique and uncommon apple varieties along with modern day favorites.

Mitchell Farm

We’re a small family farm that has been feeding Southbury since 1759. We grow an assortment of produce and specialize in growing sweet corn.

South Ridge Gardens and Farm

Offering fresh floral arrangements, South Ridge Gardens and Farm was started by Tara and her husband Al. Tara has always had a great passion for flowers and the great outdoors.

Stonecrest Farm - Equestrian Center

Stonecrest Farm is a warm, personal equestrian center providing excellent horse and rider care.
