Students will learn about oil and cold wax, from mixing and application to using unconventional tools to create different mark-making textures.
Cold wax is buttery soft and when mixed with oil paint, adds body, transparency, and depth to the painting. Various techniques, such as mixing oil paint and cold wax, using various tools, incorporating collage paper, and more will be demonstrated. Create a series of small paintings alongside other artists in this exciting class.
