One-Day Watercolor Workshop: Pansies in Gouache

Learn how to paint beautiful pansy flowers using gouache in this watercolor workshop! Gouache is an opaque watercolor paint that is mixed with water in the same way watercolors are, but provides a flat, matte wash of bold color and is less transparent than watercolor.

Instructor Leona Gawreluk will guide students on using wet-on-wet and dry-brush techniques to replicate the colors, form, and texture of pansies. There will be demonstrations on various topics, including color mixing, layering of colors, fine detail, and more. Participants will be provided with a photograph, a line drawing, paints, and brushes. All levels of artists are welcome.
