Southbury, CT: The Southbury Historical Society (SHS) will welcome Santa to read The Night Before Christmas at Sunday, December 14,
1 PM – 3 PM at Bullet Hill School, 215 Main Street North, Southbury, CT. Enjoy Christmas cookies + hot chocolate and bring your camera for a photo with Santa. So, more can attend, Santa will read the story every 45 minutes. The event is free to attend.
At this event will also be our 2025 pewter ornament that features the Southford Train Station, designed by Laurel Casazza and made by Woodbury Pewter. It will be available here, at Newbury Place, Town Clerk’s office, and the Southbury Historical Society. Prior year pewter ornaments are available for sale at the Southbury Historical Society.
The Southbury Historical Society operates four historically significant buildings: The Old Town Hall Museum, the South Britain Library, Bullet Hill School and the Ludorf Barn. The Old Town Hall Museum houses the Society’s offices, archives and collections and serves as its museum. We invite you to become a member or make a donation.
